You cannot achieve food security without optimizing investment finance, production and market for farmers. And you cannot serve as many farmers as possible without leveraging technology and grow digital in this digital age!
City Digital Consults deploys agricultural technology solutions in Nigeria. Our productwww.docpol.com is the Nigeria’s first digital poultry farming help, marketplace and investment platform designed to collect data from small holder poultry farmers about their farm situation, and then uses the data to offer advice, sell their produce and/or invest in their farm
We are aware of the potential that digital technology, and social mobilization, can bring to the poultry farming sector
In 18months of launchingdocpol.com, we have reached and served 2000+ small holder poultry farmers with expert guide, market and finance using technology
The idea behind docpol.com is economically rational because it brings down by 50%, the traditional cost of getting help in poultry farming finance, production and market. Integrating bots, AI and USSD quick codes into the system with little or no human interactions at the back-end will increase the system efficiency and reduce cost further as many poultry farmers can be served simultaneously by very few experts
The directors of City Digital Consults – founder ofwww.docpol.com Mr Onochie C Obi and Mrs Glory Azinge Ijeh have been invited to participate in the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) 2019 taking place at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) from September 3 to 6, 2019, that is co-convened by the Government of the Republic of Ghana and the AGRF Partners’ Group.

Progress in unlocking billions of dollars in private investment and finance from the private sector based on previous commitments; iii. New programs and investments from the private sector and development partners in line with the leadership vision of Ghana and other leading countries; and, iv. Knowledge sharing and learning from compelling evidence across the continent and globe.
Under the leadership of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President, Republic of Ghana and AGRF, the forum will be held under the theme “Grow Digital: Leveraging Digital Transformation to Drive Sustainable Food Systems in Africa.” Given unprecedented growth and adoption of digital technologies across the continent, Africa has an opportunity to leapfrog the agricultural transformation trajectory of the past and revolutionize life by overcoming isolation, speeding up change, creating jobs of the future and taking success to scale.
